MEMBERS OF THE PEOPLE'S HORSE—

Thank you all again for making the launch of our project such a success and we look forward to seeing you all in the Bluegrass. We’ve spent the last few months preparing an inaugural weekend to celebrate our historic project. Below, you will find: your official members itinerary and tips to make your weekend in the Bluegrass memorable and rewarding.

1. ITINERARY     2. TIPS     3. ADDRESSES

THE ITINERARY

MEMBER SUMMIT CHECK-IN - Clarion Hotel South, Reception Lobby

Friday, October 27th, 5:30pm—6:30pm

Please meet us at the Reception Lobby for Summit registration check-in to receive your Summit credentials, member pin and weekend welcome bag. Here you will meet your hosts as well as your fellow members.

MEMBER WELCOME RECEPTION - McCarthy's Irish Bar & Pub

Friday, October 27th, 6:45pm—9:00pm

We’ll board the bus and head downtown for our Welcome Reception at McCarthy’s, a classic Irish Bar & Pub with a storied horse racing past. We’ll raise a drink and make the first of many celebratory toasts, then feast on a tasting menu of traditional Southern fare.

Last Call - 9:30pm

We'll be boarding the bus back to the hotel. Anyone wishing to continue the fun is welcome to do so. Ubers, Lyfts and taxis are readily available. Total fare is est. $15-20 to return to the Clarion South.

Note: If you're driving, you can meet us there. Plenty of parking downtown, though expect heavier than normal crowds on a Friday night.

First round of celebratory drinks are on the house. Cash bar to follow.

AT THE RACES - Keeneland Racetrack & The Hill

Saturday, October 28th, 8:45 am—6:45pm

*With the cold front moving in and rain so prevalent in the forecast, we have tweaked the itinerary on Saturday morning. In lieu of tailgating before the races, we have secured a behind-the-scenes, backside experience for us all.*

Rise and shine! After complimentary breakfast at the hotel, we’ll get on the bus around 9:00 am and join trainers and grooms at Keeneland’s Track Kitchen. Starting around 10:00 am, our expert handicapper will be there to share some tips and hopefully help you cash a few tickets on the day! Breakfast at the Track Kitchen is available for purchase as well!

After some hot coffee we’ll head off for our tour of Keeneland about 11:00 and we’ll wrap up in the grandstand with plenty of time to spare before the first race.

Note: For those driving, meet us there. Just head to Keeneland Race Track and follow the signs to the kitchen: 4201 Versailles Rd, Lexington, KY 40510. Food is available for purchase throughout the Grandstand for lunch.

KEENELAND DEPARTURE 1

Saturday, October 28th, 4:00pm

For those tired and itchy to relax back at the hotel's jacuzzi and heated indoor pool, the bus will be making a return trip to the hotel at this time.

Note: If enough people would like to leave earlier, we can make this happen. We will figure this out Saturday as a group!

KEENELAND DEPARTURE 2

Saturday, October 28th, 6:45pm

After the last race, the bus will be picking up our members from The Hill and heading back to the hotel. Depending on how everyone is feeling we will either make a quick stop and drop folks off downtown if they choose or head back to the hotel.

Note: Those who are driving feel free to come and go on your own time.

SATURDAY DINNER

Saturday, October 28th, 8:15pm

The bus will head back downtown from the Clarion South for anyone who still has some pep left. We'll provide a number of restaurant recommendations for members looking to go out downtown or around Lexington. Members are welcome to dine on their own schedule or stay in and grab a casual dinner at Bennigan's, the hotel's restaurant.

Last call - 11:00pm

Our bus will leave promptly from downtown to return members to the hotel. Want to stay out later? No problem there is plenty of alternative transportation you can use to help you make your way back safe.

Note: Uber and Lyft are available at any time if anyone would like to use their services throughout the weekend. If you are unfamiliar just ask one of your hosts and we'll get you set up.

MEMBER TOUR OF TAYLOR MADE

Sunday, October 29th, 8:30 am—12:00pm

Rise and shine! After breakfast, we’ll head to the bus and head out to Taylor Made Farm to arrive for our member tour at 9:00am. It's about a twenty-five minute drive from the Clarion South. We'll meet the farm staff at The Stallion Complex and begin our behind-the-scenes tour of one of the most successful equine operations in the country.

After a stallion show (sorry, no Chrome, he's still in Chile!) we'll tour the farm and meet our mares that are in foal to Chrome. We have put together a unique and special tour with Laura Richard, experience manager at Taylor Made. You'll have a chance to hear from our experts about these mares and receive all the information you need to help inform your vote later this year.

Note: For those driving, enter through the rock entrance and follow signs to the Main Office. After please caravan through the farm and meet us at the barbecue at Talon Winery. *If your travel plans require you to leave directly from the events on Sunday please pack all your bags into the bus at checkout.

MEMBER FAREWELL BARBECUE - Talon Winery

Sunday, October 29th: 12:30 pm—3:30pm

After the farm tour wraps, we will head to Talon Winery, one of the premier wineries in Kentucky. We'll feast on some of Lexington's celebrated barbecue and make a final toast to our inaugural Member Summit.

Note: A cash bar will also be available.

Last call - 2:45pm

Time to bid farewell until the Spring Summit, when we'll reconvene back in Lexington to welcome our new foal. The bus will head back to the Clarion South from Talon Winery. The airport shuttle will leave from the winery directly to the Cincinnati Airport. For anyone leaving directly from the winery to Lexington Airport, we can assist in arranging a car service to take you there (est. fare $25 and estimated drive time 40-minutes). If you plan on leaving to the airport straight from the barbecue, please place your bags on the bus after checkout in the morning. If not, you can head back to the hotel with us after the barbecue.

ADDITIONAL TIPS

1. IT'S BUSY SEASON!

The fall meet at Keeneland is among the busiest times of the year in Lexington. Restaurants can get booked quickly, so if you'd like reservations please reserve early at opentable.com

2. MOODY WEATHER
While Kentucky is known for swings in temperature, the latter parts of October are unusually so. It's normal to expect days that are clear, sunny, warm, then raininy, cloudy and cold. Moreover, days at the track are long, and with time spent outdoors, you should pack, plan and dress appropriately. While many dress up to go to the track (we'll be sending an email on Keeneland style soon), it is advisable to plan for the elements: warm socks, sweaters, vests, jackets, hats, scarfs, even long underwear can come in handy!

A shuttle will run continuously all day from where we will be parking (The Hill) to the track so you could always bring additional clothes and leave in the bus or your car. We have reserved seats where you will be able to keep a jacket, sweater, etc. On Sunday, we will be at the farm so bring comfortable shoes that can get muddy.

3. SUNDAY TRAVEL

Many of us are flying out of town directly after the barbecue on Sunday. The farm tour begins around 9:00am and the barbecue will begin around noon and finish around 2:45 pm. In order to help facilitate a stress-free departure, we recommend anyone flying before 6pm to leave directly from the barbecue at the winery and place their luggage on the bus after checkout. It's roughly a 40-minute drive Taylor Made Farm/Talon Winery to Lexington Airport (LEX) and 1.5 hours to Cincinnati. If you have a flight to catch, plan your departures accordingly. If you have any questions, email us at members@peopleshorse.com

If you have any more questions or concerns please contact us at members@peopleshorse.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can with answers.

We are looking forward to this amazing, jam-packed weekend with everyone!
